Gujarat Saurashtra Tour

Day 01: Ahemdabad
On arrival in Ahemdabad, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to hotel. 
In the afternoon, proceed for a tour to Ahemdabad which includes the following places to visit: Bhadra & Sidi Sayyid's Mosque, Jama Masjid, Swaminarayan Temple, Gandhi Smarak and Vishalla village.Overnight at Hotel. 

Day 02: Ahemdabad - Bhavnagar (200 Km / 05 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Bhavnagar. En-route visit Lothal where you will find relics of Harappan civilization.
In the evening, explore the Takteshwar Temple, Gaurishankar Lake and Clock Tower. Overnight at hotel in Bhavnagar.

Day 3: Palitana/Velavadar National Parknational park
After breakfast proceed for an excursion tour to either Velavadar National Park (65kms northeast of Bhavnagar) or Palitana (51kms southwest of Bhavnagar).
At Velavadar National park you can see some endangered species like blackbuck. Mammals seen in Velavadar are fox, jackal, jungle cat, wild pig, hare and rodents.  Palitana is the most sacred pilgrimage centre for Jains with more than 1300 temples carved in marble. The main temple on top of the hill is dedicated to 1st tirthankar lord Adinath (Rishabdeva). No one is allowed to sleep overnight including the priest, because the temple city has been built as an abode for the Gods. Overnight at hotel in Bhavnagar. 



Day 4: Bhavnagar - Diu (225 Km / 06 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Diu. En route visit Alang Ship Breaking Yard.  Spend the evening relaxing at a beach in Diu. Overnight at hotel in Diu. 

Day 5: DiuDiu-tour
After breakfast, proceed for a local tour to Diu visiting the Nagar Seth's Haveli and few Churches. Rest of the day is free for beach activities.Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Diu- Gir( 250 Km / 06 Hrs) 
After breakfast depart for Gir. En route visit the port of Veraval and Somnath Temple. Overnight at hotel in Gir.

Day 7: Gir 
On this day explore the Sasan Gir Wildlife Sanctuary- home of Asiatic Lions. Enjoy morning and evening jeep safari in SasanGir wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight at Gir. 

Day 8: Gir- Bhuj
After breakfast drive to Bhuj. Enroute visit Junagarh and have a glimpse of Rajkot. Overnight at Bhuj. Junagarh lies at the foothills of the Girnar Hills. Places to visit: Uperkot Fort, Mahabat Maqbara, Durbar Hall Museum.

Day 9: Bhuj 
After breakfast, proceed for a tour to Bhuj visiting the Palace complex, Aina Mahal, Hira Mahal, Prag Mahal. Overnight at hotel in Bhuj.

Day 10: Bhuj 
Full Day excursion tour to Banny villages to explore the traditional art. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 11: Departure
Tour ends. You will be transferred to airport/railway station at an appropriate time.
