As a religion, the main thrust of Hinduism remains an
inhabitant search for the divine. This is a search within the self which
is oriented towards finding the eternal truth. It is because Truth
hunted with conviction shall capitulate itself in idyllic luminescence
irrespective of its caste, color or creed.
Hindus believe that all the forms of life, right from plants to animals
to humans, are subjects and objects of Dharma. This inherent faith in
Dharma is common to all the Hindus with Karma and Moksha in line. They
consider that the Dharmic Karmas of a soul lead it to the path of Moksha
or liberation.
It is said that one can always base his/her actions on moralities and
meditative yogas. Some other points are also there stressed over and
again in Hinduism which mainly include Truth, Non Violence and Penance.
The power of mantras or sacred chants is also a major thrust area for
the Hindus. The divine word OM is considered the base of all
words and an origin to the entire expanse of universe. This Unitary
Truth is taken to be the base of all the good on earth.
The science of consciousness is also another spiritual principle that
holds an eternally true place in Hinduism. For this is not only bodily
consciousness but is of a super natural type that exists even beyond our
existence.
