The various types of Classical Dances have their own significances. Bharatanataym Dance of India skillfully personifies the 3 primary ingredients of dancing-bhava(mood), rage(music and melody) and tala(timing). The technique of Bharatanatyam comprises of 64 principles of coordinated hand, foot, face and body movements. Manipuri Dance of India is believed to be created by Radha and Krishana. Kathakali Dance of India is the only dance in which the entire body-the skeleton and muscles, including the muscles as small as facial muscle are used to portray emotion. Kathak dance of India recites religious and mythological tales with music, mime and dance. Kuchipudi Dance of India presents scenes from Hindu Epics and mythological tales via dance and dramas. Odissi Dance of India is the lifeline of Orissa which is a three parts break- head, chest and pelvis.
