The Heartland of India, Madhya Pradesh borders Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh , Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. MP is made up of 48 districts, which are grouped into eight divisions – – Bhopal, Chambal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, and Ujjain. The state capital Bhopal is home to industries such as electrical goods, cotton, chemicals and jewelry. There are several places of attraction in the state that include, among others, Khajuraho, Bhimbetka Caves, Gwalior Fort, Sanchi Stupa, etc.
