With a lot of destinations of tourist interest scattered all over the city, Mumbai can offer complete recreation to the leisure traveler. With English being the common man's language, the city serves as a good haunt for both Indian as well as foreign tourists. Following are some of the must includes in your tour itinerary while in Mumbai.

Marine Drive
Lovingly caressing the seashore at Nariman point and going up to the Malabar Hills lays one of the busiest roads known as Marine drive. Much lauded by Bollywood, this breeziest place of Mumbai also passes through Chowpatty Beach. Given its close proximity to the sea, the place experiences a very pleasant climate round the year and is therefore popular as the Queen's Necklace.

Chowpatty Beach
Another must visit point in Mumbai the much famed Chowpatty Beach- a favorite haunt of the common man to eat and entertain. If you are visiting the city in August or September, you can observe this beach in its full color. As that is the time for Ganpati Visarjan and thousands of devotees flock the beach with lofty idols of the elephant headed god Lord Ganesha to immerse them in the sea. A real paradise for the foodies, Chowpatty is known all over the country for its bhelpuri, chuski, pao bhaji and Vada Paos.

Built over three reservoirs of water, the Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens of the city also stand as a site to be visited. Also known as the Hanging Gardens, these gardens stand upon a store of billions of gallons of water that are filtered before being pumped out by the city.

Home to the biggest stock market of India, BSE; the Fort area in Mumbai is a replica of Victorian and gothic architecture. An imperative viable center, the area always remains active with the traffic at its peak between 9.00 - 10.00 a.m. and 6.30 - 8.00 p.m.

Apart from the above, the Gateway of India, Afghan Church, Haji Ali Mosque, Kamala Nehru Park, High Court, Nehru Planetarium, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Market, Race Course and Mani Bhavan (Gandhi Memorial) are also some of the must visit sites in Mumbai which have been attracting the tourists since ages.
