West Bengal Map
With a total geographical area of 88752 sq km, West Bengal occupies 2.7% of India’s total geographical area. The state is divided into 19 administrative districts. The land is mostly plain except the northern region, which comes under the Himalayan mountain range. On the basis of landforms, West Bengal can be divided into these distinct regions: Darjeeling Himalayan hill region, Terai region, North Bengal plains, Rarh region, Coastal plain, Sunderbans, Western plateau and high lands, and Ganges delta.
